Cagliari Airport is located in Elmas, just outside the city. Send us your flight number and estimated landing time: we'll deliver the car to you at the arrivals hall or at the agreed-upon location.
The port overlooks the city center and welcomes ferries from the mainland and cruise ships. If you're arriving by sea, we can deliver your vehicle near the landing stage and collect it there on the day of departure.
In the city, we deliver to hotels in the center and along the Poetto beach. The Castello neighborhood, on the hill, has limited traffic and very narrow streets. If you're staying there, we can arrange with your hotel a convenient meeting point at the foot of the neighborhood.
Many guests choose resorts on the southwest coast, between Santa Margherita di Pula and Chia, or villas in the Villasimius area. We'll deliver your car to the property entrance; for villas outside of towns, all we need is your location shared on the map.
To the east, past Quartu, the coast becomes rocky: the road passes high above the sea, past coves and ancient watchtowers, and requires a leisurely drive. Villasimius can be reached in about an hour.
The town is located near Capo Carbonara, the island's southeastern tip, which is surrounded by a marine protected area. The beaches of Simius and Porto Giunco have light sand and shallow water.
To the southwest, the state road passes through Pula, near the ruins of ancient Nora, and reaches Chia in about an hour. From here, the panoramic road of the Costa del Sud begins, running high above the sea to Teulada, with rest areas overlooking the coves. Along the way, you'll come across Tuerredda, a white-sand bay with a small island in front: in August, it's worth arriving there in the morning.
On the western side of the island, about an hour and a half away, the Costa Verde is a wild stretch of dunes and long beaches. The Piscinas dunes, tall and shaped by the wind, can be reached via a final stretch of dirt road, passing by old abandoned mines. Allow a full day: there are few services in the area.
For the Villasimius coastline and the South Coast, the most pleasant choice is a convertible like the Ferrari F8 Spider or the Porsche 911 (992) 4S Cabriolet. For the Costa Verde and dirt roads, an SUV is more suitable : the Land Rover Defender 110 or the Mercedes-AMG G63 tackle dirt roads with ease.
For a group traveling between resorts, restaurants, and beaches, there's the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, with room for a group or family with lots of luggage.
The sea is popular from May to October. The mistral, a northwest wind, can blow strongly even in summer: which beaches are sheltered depends on the wind direction, and it's best to ask your hotel for advice.
On May 1st, Cagliari celebrates Sant'Efisio with a long procession in traditional dress, accompanying the saint to Nora. The city center is very crowded on those days: arrange for delivery to your hotel in advance.
Can you deliver the car to the port of Cagliari? Yes, near the ferry or cruise ship landing, at the agreed-upon location.
Do you deliver to the Pula and Chia resorts? Yes, at the entrance to the resort or villa, on the day and time of your choosing.
Is a supercar okay for southern roads? On the paved coastal roads, yes; for the Costa Verde and the dirt access roads to the beaches, an SUV is better.
Can I return the car in the north of the island? Yes, after a tour of Sardinia, you can leave it in Olbia , about a three-hour drive away, or on the Costa Smeralda.
When is it best to avoid the city center by car? During the feast of Sant'Efisio, in early May, when the streets fill up for the procession.
What if I change my plans? You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before delivery. The booked car, however, will not change: the model is always guaranteed.
