On the Croisette, surface parking spaces are limited and almost always occupied. The underground parking lots in the center are the most practical solution; with a low car, drive down the ramps slowly and diagonally. Almost all major hotels offer valet parking.
The Pierre Canto port is located at the eastern end of the Croisette and is a convenient stop if you're arriving by boat or have an appointment nearby. The historic Suquet district, on the hill above the old port, has narrow, steep streets: it's best explored on foot, leaving your car at the bottom.
Behind Cannes, the landscape changes in just a few minutes. The village of Mougins, with its restaurants, and the town of Grasse, known for its perfume tradition, can be reached via roads with curves and climbs fit for a Ferrari. Early in the morning, traffic is light, and you can drive with peace of mind.
In inland towns, parking is usually located at the entrance to the historic center. Leave your car there and continue on foot: the internal streets are narrow and often pedestrianized.

From June to September, the city is mostly busy during the day on the beaches and in the evenings in the restaurants in the center and port. The heaviest traffic along the seafront is concentrated in the late afternoon, when everyone is returning from the beaches.
For a day at the beach, choose a beach club with valet parking and arrive in the morning. A Ferrari parked for hours in the sun can get very hot: whenever possible, look for a shaded spot or covered parking, and always lock your car, even for short stays.
