Ferrari in Monte Carlo: A Practical Guide to the Casino, Port, and Corniche

The three Ferraris in the fleet at Monte-Carlo

Monte-Carlo is a place where sports cars are part of the everyday landscape. The Ferrari Roma Spider is perfect for evenings: a smooth ride, elegant lines, and the option of open-top cruising on summer evenings. The Ferrari F8 Spider combines open-air comfort with a more assertive character, ideal for the mountain roads behind the Principality.

The Ferrari F8 Tributo is the closed version. It's convenient if you plan to use the car during the cooler months or if you want a quieter cabin on long journeys, such as to Italy or Cannes.

Arriving in front of the Casino

The Casino Square is Monte-Carlo's most famous landmark, surrounded by historic hotels, cafes, and boutiques. A valet will pick up your keys in front of the surrounding hotels and return your car when you leave.

In the evening, traffic around the square is slow, and many people stop to watch the cars. Drive slowly, respect pedestrian crossings, and keep in mind that the streets in the center often slope up or down, with sharp curves.

Port Hercule and the circuit roads

Port Hercule is the center of Monaco life: yachts, waterfront restaurants, and promenades. If you arrive by boat, we can deliver your Ferrari to the port. For parking, there are underground parking garages nearby, just a few minutes away.

Some parking garage entrances have steep ramps and sharp turns. With a low car like a Ferrari, approach them at a walking pace, with the wheels straight at the beginning and end of the ramp, so as not to touch the bottom of the car.

Many of the roads around the port are part of the Grand Prix circuit. All year round, they're normal city streets, with speed limits, traffic lights, and traffic. Driving them in a Ferrari is a pleasure, but always at the pace of a city and respecting normal traffic regulations.

Monte Carlo during Formula 1 week

Every year, between late May and early June, the Principality hosts the Grand Prix. During race days, the city circuit is closed to traffic, grandstands and barriers appear around the port, and getting around by car becomes complicated. Construction work also slows traffic in the weeks before and after the race.

If you're planning a stay during that period, request delivery well in advance and choose an easily accessible location, even outside the Principality. The Ferrari will be more useful for coastal trips than for city trips.

Grande Corniche and Moyenne Corniche

Above Monaco, three parallel roads run between Nice and the Principality. The Grande Corniche is the highest: it passes near the village of La Turbie, with wide curves and sea views. In an open-top Ferrari, it's one of the most pleasant drives in the area, especially early in the morning or at sunset.

The Moyenne Corniche, halfway up, is busier but equally scenic, and connects Monaco to Nice directly. You can hop on one and hop off the other, for a roughly half-day ride with a stop for lunch.

Towards Menton and Italy

A few kilometers east lies Menton , with its colorful old town and gardens. Just beyond lies the Italian border and the Ligurian Riviera, with its seaside towns and coastal roads. It's an easy day trip to organize, even allowing you to return your car in Italy if your journey continues.

Delivery, collection and alternatives

We'll deliver your Ferrari to your hotel, home, port, or Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. At the end of your stay, we can also pick it up elsewhere. If you're traveling in a group or with children, you can choose a Mercedes-AMG G63 or a 7-seater Land Rover Defender 110, among the luxury SUVs , alongside your Ferrari .
