Monaco is small, but its streets rise and fall constantly between the port, the residential neighborhoods, and the hills behind the city. The Mercedes-AMG G63 offers a high seat, good visibility on hairpin bends, and a comfortable interior even for short, repeated trips throughout the day.
All-wheel drive gives you confidence on steep underground parking ramps and hilly roads, even in the rain. Interior space is generous: you can carry beach bags, shopping from town, or weekend bags without sacrificing comfort.
The Principality has numerous underground public parking lots, well signposted and close to key attractions: Port Hercule, the Casino area, Larvotto, and Fontvieille. With a large car like the G63, it's best to enter slowly and choose spaces that aren't too cramped, especially on the lower levels.
Major hotels usually offer valet parking: you park at the entrance and someone will take care of your car. During rush hour, traffic tends to be concentrated on the access roads from France, so for dinner or a date, it's best to leave a little early.
Many roads are connected by tunnels: on your first outing, it's a good idea to do a test drive during the day.
The Monaco Grand Prix takes place every year between late May and early June. During these days, the circuit's roads are closed, and the preparations occupy the port and city center for several weeks before and after the race. Traffic slows down, and parking lots fill up quickly.
If you arrive during that period, arrange delivery of the G63 well in advance and let us know exactly where you're staying. In some cases, it's easier to pick up the car somewhere outside the city center, or in Nice or Menton, and use it for days away from the circuit.
We'll deliver the G63 wherever you're most comfortable: to your hotel lobby, to your doorstep, to the port if you're arriving by boat, or to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, the main hub for those arriving by plane. From the airport to Monaco, it takes about 30-40 minutes without traffic.
Pickup can take place at a different location than the drop-off location. You can pick up the car in Monte Carlo and leave it at the airport on the day of departure, or continue on to Italy or Switzerland and return it elsewhere. Please specify everything in the quote request and we will respond with the best solution for your dates.
The Moyenne Corniche takes you in just a few minutes to the village of Èze, perched above the sea, and continues towards Nice. The Grande Corniche runs higher up and offers expansive views of the coast: the G63 allows you to travel it at a leisurely pace, without rushing.
To the east, beyond Menton, you enter Italy. Sanremo is a convenient destination for a market morning or lunch on the Riviera, and the coastal road allows you to stop wherever you like. To the west, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Villefranche-sur-Mer are nearby and easily reached in the afternoon.
If you're traveling in a group or with a lot of luggage, the 7-seater Land Rover Defender 110 offers more seating, while the Mercedes-Benz V-Class offers space for a group or family with lots of luggage. You can find them on the luxury vans and luxury SUVs page.
For summer evenings, many prefer a convertible: the Ferrari Roma Spider, the Ferrari F8 Spider, or the Porsche 911 (992) 4S Cabriolet. You can even combine two cars in the same living room, for example, a G63 for the day and a sports car for the evening.
Can you deliver the G63 directly to my hotel in Monte Carlo? Yes. Just let us know the name of the hotel and the time, and the car will be waiting for you at the entrance. Pick-up can take place at the same location or elsewhere.
Is it easy to park a G63 in Munich? There are plenty of public, covered parking lots. Some spaces are tight, so it's best to choose wisely or use your hotel's valet parking service.
Can I pick up the car at Nice Airport and leave it in Monaco? Yes, drop-off and pick-up can take place in different locations. The same applies if you want to leave it in another country.
Is it worth renting the G63 during the Grand Prix? You can, but traffic is heavy and many roads are closed. Plan your travel plans and book in advance.
Is the G63 suitable for climbing the Grande Corniche? Yes. The road has sweeping curves and coastal views, and the G63's high seating position makes for a comfortable ride.
What other cities on the French Riviera can I reach in a day? Nice, Cannes, and Antibes are all within a day's drive. You can also find information on the Nice and Menton pages.
Is the booked model guaranteed? Yes, always: we deliver the exact car you choose. If your plans change, you can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before delivery.
